What information do we collect and how do we use it?

Consumers

The following disclosure applies to consumers who do not have an employment, agency, or contractor relationship with us. Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory: Audio, electronic, photo, visual information, such as a call or video recording, voicemail messages

Professional information and Employment information: Job titles, work history, school(s) attended, employment status, veteran, or military status

Education Information: Job titles, work history, school attended, marital and family status, e-mail, telephone recordings

Inferences: Preferences, behaviors, characteristics, trends, predispositions, attitudes, abilities, and aptitudes

Sensitive Personal Information: Social Security number, driver’s license number, state ID card, account log-in, precise geo-location, bank account number, credit or debit card number, or any other financial information, trade union membership, your communications with us

Purposes for Collection of Personal Information – Consumer

We collect and use your personal information to offer, provide, and maintain insurance products and related services to you. We may use your personal information for one or more of the following purposes:

  • Directly from you – We collect personal information when you provide it to us in a request for a quote, claim, or policy on any of our website(s) or mobile applications, or through interactions with an agent or our call center.
  • Indirectly from you – We may collect personal information, including, but not limited to, geolocation and driving data (when using mobile applications), IP address, cookies, and device ID when you visit our website(s), interact with our online advertisements, or use or mobile application(s).
  • Provided by third-party service providers – We may collect personal information from third-party service providers including consumer reporting agencies, marketing companies and data providers.
  • Obtained from government entities – We may obtain personal information from public records maintained by various government entities.
